VISION:
Bridged by the cross of Christ
OBJECTIVE: To ensure the transition of YFC to SFC as a natural process
STRATEGY
1. CROSSOVER QUARTER
This quarter is the season when most of our efforts for Youth for Christ (YFC)
to crossover to Singles for Christ (SFC) happen. This is normally the time of
the year when YFC members graduate from Universities and Colleges and is
therefore the best opportunity for us to transition them to SFC. Our goal for
this quarter is to attract, start awareness (e.g. crossover booth in YFC ILC),
let the leaders and eventually the members of both ministries appreciate
crossing over and receiving (e.g. SFC MMLA and YFC Kasangga),
and to ultimately transition all crossover eligibles
of YFC to SFC through households and CLPs.
Crossover Quarter runs from April-June.

OTHER POINTS TO CONSIDER
Crossover eligibles should have the chance to
interact with other “non crossover” SFC to learn and imbibe the SFC culture.
YFC transitioning to SFC doesn’t have to wait for a CLP to be integrated into
the chapter.
Crossover eligibles can be grouped in strategic
households, attend chapter teachings and assemblies as regular member.
However, they cannot attend regular formation tracks such as covenant
orientation, SWRs…until they have attended the CLP.
The CLP is still needed to formalize their membership as SFCs.
It is still important to go through this process for this will build up the SFC
culture in them.
